Family Classics Read-Aloud

Join us for a cozy evening of stories at The Wandering Lantern with our monthly Family Classics Read-Aloud.

Each month, families are invited to settle in and listen as we begin a beloved children’s classic together. We’ll read enough to introduce the characters, spark curiosity, and leave everyone eager to discover what happens next. Families can then continue the book together at home at their own pace.

Our December selection is E. Nesbit’s The Railway Children, the heartwarming story of three siblings whose lives change when they move to the countryside near a railway. Full of adventure, kindness, and family devotion, it’s a lovely story to share during the holiday season.

Come get comfortable, enjoy the opening chapters, and begin a new family reading tradition.
