Guest Reader Story Time

Friendships can be joyful, complicated, silly, comforting—and sometimes they change. Join us on Saturday, November 14 for a special visit from award-winning Ohio children’s author Marcy Campbell and a morning devoted to stories about friendship.

We’ll begin at 11:00 AM with our regular Story Time, with Marcy joining us as our special guest reader. She’ll share friendship-themed picture books chosen especially for our younger listeners.

Following Story Time, families with school age children (6-12) are invited to stay as Marcy shares her new book, We Used to Be Friends, illustrated by Aimée Sicuro. The story explores the big feelings that can come when a close friendship changes or comes to an end, opening the door for a thoughtful, age-appropriate conversation about friendship, feelings, and moving forward. We’ll finish with a fun friendship-themed craft for kids to make and take home.

Copies of We Used to Be Friends will be available to purchase and have signed by Marcy.
